In 2009, Gunargarang Rotaract Club Inc. embarked on a three-year
commitment to an international organisation. The organisation we chose
to support is the Kathleen Keegel Children’s Fund.
The Kathleen
Keegel Children’s Find (or KKCF) was started in memory of Kathleen
Keegel, who, after migrating to Australia from Sri Lanka on 1966,
decided that she wanted to return to Sri Lanka in 2003 and become a
missionary. Passing away before this dream was realised, her children
founded the KKCF. As such, one of Kathleen’s daughters – Olivia, and her
